Biography

The Dyersville Women’s Club was founded in Dyersville, Iowa in 1930. The club had a mission of self-improvement, dissemination of a broader culture, and interest in the welfare of the community. The club engaged in several community service projects such as sponsoring a troop of girl scouts, raising money for the Red Cross and disabled veterans, and creating Christmas boxes for children. The club federated with Iowa Federation of Women’s Clubs in 1930.
