Biography

The Prairie View Club in Hardin County was formed in the early decades of the twentieth century to unite women of the area and to promote the best interests of the home and community in which they lived. Club meetings were a major social event for the women where they could work together to help the community and accomplish goals, socialize, fundraise, provide charity work, and share common interests such as sewing, cooking, and gardening.
