Biography

The Omega Township Women's Club of O'Brien County began September 20, 1976 in the home of Faye Anema. The club was sponsored by Farm Bureau and was formed so area women could discuss aspects of rural, farm,and family life. The club met once amonth and was very involved in community events, fundraising, and volunteering. Club meetings were a major social event for the women where they could work together and become involved in the community, socialize, and share common interests such as farm safety, sewing, cooking, and gardening.
