This book is a trade edition facsimile of an original book (1985) made and held by Ely based on the notebook of the artist's grandfather written on a trip to Egypt in 1928. Ely created this stunning book with his personal language, maps, charts, continents and astrological/hieroglyphic symbols. The 762 color photographs taken by Tom Grill depict 250 miniature books in designer bindings. Each book is illustrated in its actual size and is represented by several photos. The bindings are a catalogue of Neale Albert's collection that was exhibited at The Grolier Club. There is a preface by Albert and an essay by Priscilla Juvelis.
