The author writes, "Israeli artist Jacob El-Hanani has created his own variation on calligram micrography in his Constructivist style, using minute cursive Hebrew script to form a textured carpet of writing. Although the result differs from the traditional micrograph and calligram, his perseverance proves El-Hanani to be a true descendant of the Medieval masorah scribe."
