This book consists of intricate varied colored paper, pop-up constructions and collages. As would be expected from the title of the work, several of these constructions come under mechanical tension as the pages are opened. The theme of this work is typical of Weier's ouevre of this period. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
