Biography

Affiliated with the U.S. Farmers Association is the Iowa Farmers Association. This latter organization was chartered in 1917 as the Farmers Educational and Cooperative Union, Iowa Division. The name generally used was the Iowa Farmers Union. In October 1959, the name was again changed to the Iowa Fraternal Union. At the convention held in September 1962 it was voted to change the name to Iowa Farmers Association.
