Edited by Linda Parry, this book was issued to coincide with the exhibition held at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and an exhibition at the Morgan Library, New York. Morris was a painter, poet, typographer, calligrapher, and book illuminator as well as a designer of wallpaper, carpets, stained glass, tiles, furniture and tapestries.
