The book includes an extensive section on tattooing. Photographic colored reproductions of fashion advertisements form a section of the book. Jack Miles introductory essay "How to Read This Book" is subtitled "A Note to the Reader from a Concerned Friend." -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
