Biography

Jacqueline Scott (19xx- ) a Keokuk, Iowa educator and community activist, has been involved with celebrating the history of the African-American community in Keokuk. Her activities have included publishing a companion newspaper for the town's "Taste of Africa" celebrations and compiling a teacher's resource packet on African-American history in Keokuk and Fort Madison, entitled We Shall Overcome.
