Biography
Claire Celsi was born in 1966 in Des Moines, Iowa and grew up there, graduating from Dowling High School and Drake University before starting a public relations and marketing firm in 2009. In 2019, Celsi ran as a Democrat and won a seat in the Iowa Senate, representing District 21 (West Des Moines and parts of Warren County) from 2019-2023 and District 16 (West Des Moines and parts of Windsor Heights and Clive) beginning in 2023.
