Biography

Born in 1941 in Clyde, Missouri, Gaskill was first a clerk to the Wapello county auditor and then became auditor herself from 1985-2001. The following year, she ran for the Iowa House as a Democrat and won. Gaskill served District 93 (Ottumwa and parts of Wapello County) from 2003-2013 and District 81 from 2013-2021.
