Biography

Mary Ann Hanusa was born in Council Bluffs in 1963. A Republican, she has worked for Senator Charles Grassley and as the director of the Office of Presidential Correspondence for George W. Bush. Hanusa represented parts of Council Bluffs in the Iowa House from 2011-2021, serving District 99 from 2011-2013 and District 16 from 2013-2021.
