Biography

Lindsay James was born in Portland, Oregon in 1980. After graduating from Fuller Theological Seminary, she became an ordained Presbyterian minister, working both in parishes and as a university chaplain and adjunct professor. In 2018, she successfully ran as a Democrat to represent parts of Dubuque in the Iowa state legislature, serving District 99 from 2019-2023 and District 71 beginning in 2023.
