Biography
Catharine King Herr, born in 1885 in Cedar City, Iowa, was a farm wife all of her life. She married Herbert Neal Herr in 1906 and raised her family in the house she inherited from her grandfather. She kept a diary for thirty-three years, from 1945 until her death in 1978.
