Biography
Ruth Miriam Roland was born on November 20, 1894 in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated from Drake University and married Earl William Cowden in 1920. In 1921 the Cowden's traveled by car from Des Moines, Iowa, to Los Angeles, California, where they lived the rest of their lives. Ruth Cowden died in 1978.
