This issue was published in conjunction with an exhibition by Heidsieck at the Centre International de Poesie in Sept 1998. There are several reproductions of Heidsieck's works in this issue including a collage from the Canal Street series (no.42) that is held by the Sackner Archive. Canal Street / Heidsieck, Bernard; Bertini, Gianni., 1986
Canal Street is the title of a series of 50 "sound collages" composed in the 1970's. Each pice blends phrases from the documentation that accompanies the communication devices bought on Canal Street NYC. Each "sound collage" was printed in wood cut type by Gianni Bertini. The five hand colored etchings were made by Bertini.There is water damge to the ouside margin og the pages that has not affected the images. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.

It should be noted that the images for this series of collages was scanned from Heidsieck's book that mostly rendered the image an exact copy of the Sackner work. However, in this print the upper five images of the power plugs are not registered correctly. The 11 poems by Heidsieck were based upon drawings by Degottex. The original drawings by Degottex in this copy served as the basis for the silkscreened prints. Printed for Henri Chopin by Coriander and by Design and Print.
