Scope and Contents Internet: Ã…ke Hodell (1919-2000) began to devote themselves to poetry for a long stay in hospital following a plane crash he was involved in as a fighter pilot. By chance was Gunnar Ekelof his mentor and later friend, and their first contact consisted of a list of essential poets Ekelof wrote on a restaurant menu. After various modernist poetry publications where he eg used aircraft terminology poetic material occurred Hodell debut as "concrete poet" with a reading of "General Bussig" in 1963, wearing a headlamp the only illumination."General Bussig want to show how an ordinary young man who will do his military service, can turn into an effective soldier. In the late 50's had a new psychology come into the military. The officers would no longer be a bully and hard trill recruits with Prussian excercis.
