This anthology traces the historic roots of concrete and visual poetics through numerous illustrations to contemporary times. Franz Mon's "Collage" of 1965 (Decollage) depicted on page 81 is held by the Sackner Archive. The originals of Ruutsalo's "Textfilm" reproduced on page 96 are also held by the Sackner Archive. The book includes a section that shows employment of concrete and visual poems in commercial advertisements. The book contains a signed essay by Joel Hubaut. The back cover is branded with the symbols 'O' X' & 'L'. The book is pierced in the upper right hand corner with a metal key ring that holds a folder ontaining 12 nude female torsos. The folder is reversed so the title Nus Artistique, the publisher and the warning that it cannot be sold to minors is in the inside. The outside is labeled with a stamp by Joel Hubaut. This print contains many elements of Hubaut's oeuvre, e.g. his hand-printed text interspersed with drawn and found images, references to artists and musicians, and the chaos of statements and words filling the surface. The images include a pig, a robot, a girl, a woman's head, a skeleton, a rabbit and a nude woman, along with black ink words and phrases.
