The theme of this book is balls and the eyes. The text is densely printed in the shape of a circle or the four corner perimeter of a circle. The wood block prints depict images of small human figures with handwriting. This book is one of a series entitled, Collection Grames-Ecriture. Scope and Contents The silkscreen print was done by Jean Dubuffet and the aquatints by Parant. The latter consist of two prints side by side on folded paper. The Parant prints are composed with small handdrawn 'o's equivalent to eyes. A critique of this book translated from French to English was found on the internet. "And this text enjoys without end, the words are tightened there as the hands are tightened to cherish and embrace the night: the signs are coupled with the collectable one to press the curves of the ground as the touching members link themselves with the reliefs of the darkness to dig the matter and to enjoy in its centre. It is the joy of the closed eyes, the deployment of the fingers in love with the invisible one. The words are tightened there as the eyes are tightened to link one the other and to be linked with the light: the signs are coupled between them and are projected in the fire of the sun as the members indicators amalgamate with the source of the glance so that is born the...

Scope and Contents Wikipedia: Froissage is a method of collage developed by Czech artist Ladislav Novak in which the lines made by crumpling up a piece of paper are used to create a drawing. One major exponent of the art of froissage is Jirí Kolar.In his lifetime, Kolar acquired a reputation as one of the most inventive 20th-century Czech artists. A member of Group 42 and the first Czech Group of Experimental Poetry, he assisted in the development of the collage techniques of froissage and confrontage. During that time, writing poems and crumpling up pieces of paper were considered subversive activities and were discouraged by the then-powerful Communist regime. Kolar endured harassment and imprisonment, and eventually emigrated to France, where he was finally able to attain international renown for his work.Froissage is a unique art in which the contours of a crumpled piece of paper are used to create a drawing.
