Scope and Contents

This exhibition of 83 artist books depicted in color by Italian artists/poets was curated by Franco Spena. Apolloni's book object "Ti amo all'infito" (1999) of a wooden closed suitcase with a painted calligraphic caption is the same as that held by the Sackner Archive with a different caption. Another copy of Elizabetta Gut's "Little Book in a Cage" (1981) that is held by the Sackner Archive is depicted on page 74. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
