On the back cover, it is stated that Beaulieu is the suthor of four books of poetry (most recently the visual poem suite chains) and two volumes of conceptual fiction (most recently the short story collection How to Write), derek beaulieu's work is consistently praised as some of the most radical and challenging contemporary Canadian writing.
