This is the first volume in a series of three on the work of Roth. It is divided into four sections. The first consists of Laslo Glozer's essay " Leaving to Depart - Dieter Roth: the nomad in His Time" links the artist's life and art. Part two shows the progression of Roth's unique pieces from 1950 to 1998.
