Huttinger selected pages from a 19th century illustrated novel, cut vertical strips from the pages, laid them out with dimensions of a page and photocopied them for this book. In addition, he blacked out parts of the text with ink on other pages, leaving some words intact to achieve a new poetry, much in the style of Tom Phillips' "A Humument." -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
