Ginsberg contributed a personal essay on collecting artists' books and the nature of the book. A bibliography, complete index and a list of exhibitions are included. The Elvis Presley Scrapbook by Joni Mabe was lent to the exhibition by the Sackner Archive. With coptic binding, pyramid imagery, the image of a single eye, and the parchment envelope, this book has an ancient Egyptian-like appearance. The calligraphic markings are presented as linear text and some forms are hieroglyphic.
