The loose sheet contains an essay by Jasia Reichardt describing the history of artists books. The introduction to this catalogue provides a sampling of pages from books published by students at Watford School of Art from 1966-1974. This is followed by a larger section of pages, mostly visual art from students at the school in 1974. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
Season's Greetings / Kitching, Alan., 1997
Typuzzle / Kitching, Alan., 1992
The image consists of a grid of typographic forms and inventions that depicts a difficult to unravel typographic rebus. For example, in the top row, the word "pica" is formed by four letters with distinctly different type faces. This work was designed set and printed by James Beveridge, Peter Grundy and Alan Kitching. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
