Correspondence between Clyde L. Herring and various friends who had heard about his son "missing in action" in Tunisia. His son was in the 168th Infantry and captured at the Battle of Kassarine Pass in Tunisia in February 1943. He was a prisoner of war that was transported to Germany. He was interned at Oflag 64 in Szubin, Poland for the remainder of the war.
