The Elisabeth Ly Bell Papers span from 1961 to 2017 and are sorted into a single Research series. The materials are comprised of Ly Bell’s research on American author Robert Coover, includng contextual research, scholarly essays on Coover, Coover’s creative/scholarly works and inter-personal correspondence, Ly Bell’s doctoral thesis on The Public Burning, and Ly Bell’s own teaching materials covering Coover. Correspondence between Ly Bell and Coover is also included. The materials are ordered according to Ly Bell’s own organization for her personal research. As such, materials, while collected together in the finding aid, are spread physically across multiple folders and boxes. Please pay special attention to extent and instance notes.
