The records of the Midwest Section, American Association for Clinical Chemistry date from 1954 to 1991. Arranged chronologically within an alphabetical sequence, this small grouping of records is housed in two boxes and measures less than one linear foot. The vast majority of manuscripts consist of records kept by the chairperson, including correspondence and action files. Within these correspondence files can be found meeting minutes, agendas, convention reports, and other paperwork in addition to actual letters. Two folders relate to conventions and meetings, while another contains their newsletter, Midwest Clinical Chemist. By-laws, awards, and a published booklet titled Long Range Plans document the history, goals, and workings of the association.
