This series consists of a number of scrapbooks containing photographs, dates various, of railroad depots and stations from across the United States, as well as a number of foreign countries. The scrapbooks are organized alphabetically by state, thereunder by county, by town, and by railroad. Depots from other countries were placed in the series under "F" (for "Foreign", one assumes), and thereunder by country. Most of the shots of foreign depots and other railroad views are actually postcards rather than traditional photographs.The one exception is Canada, which is placed under "C" and consists of photographs, not postcards. Some of the images of American depots are postcards as well. Images of depots in the state of Iowa have been digitized and can be found at the Iowa Heritage Digital site.
