These recipes, covering 94 pages, include metrical paraphrases of the psalms and extracts from Tillotson's sermons, written in three different hands. The first hand is the psalms and poems, very neat and ruled. the second is recipies, messy and much darker. The third, sermons, starts from the back of the book, and is upside down to the others. The most interesting recipes are: white and black pudding, how to dress a carp, leek soup (with psalms), calves head hash, oyster sauce for fowl, how to pot lampreys, to fry artichokes, etc.
