Some recipes have Hungarian titles such as "tea doughnuts from Pest" (from Budapest); "Golatschen," a Viennese misspelling of the Hungarian word "kalacs." Many torte and cake recipes are included, among them potato torte. It has a recipe for bread cake, one for American bread, and one for Johannisbeer Torte (wild berry cake)
