Voulme 3: Untitled bound cook book handwritten in the singular hand and enhanced with many decorative borders, many of them in color (Watercolor/ marker). There are pictures from magazines pasted in, many in the front of a Victorian "King of desks", several of Arts and Crafts era houses. as well as cartoons. Descriptions of trips to New Orleans, in Pat's hand are also included & Certificate for Pat Brangle from the New Orleans School of Cooking.
Volume 4: Title "Receipts of Brangles" This cook book reads from right to left, with page one being at what we would call the end of the book in the western world. It is nearly all in Pat's distinctive hand, with a couple of paste-ins.

Volume 4: Hardcover lined. printed vinyl(?) cover, multicolored flowers on a purple and black background, with "Receipts of brangles" in red. On the other cover "The End" in purple, with tan plants on a multicolored striped background. Written in black, purple, blue, red and pink felt tip pen
