The papers of Francis William Herron date from 1938 to 1978 and consist of three boxes of manuscripts arranged chronologically within an alphabetical sequence. Most of the collection relates to Herron's postings in the foreign service. Subject files range from the petroleum industry throughout Latin America to the politics of Venezuela. There is also correspondence with Bob Woodward.
