Abstract

Correspondence, speeches, reports, business records, articles, campaign materials, fact sheets, form letters, directives, telegrams, pamphlets, press releases, clippings, and other related material concerning the party and the national election of 1948.

Method of Acquisition

The original portion of this collection was given to the University of Iowa in 1966 by Curtis MacDougall. The Progressive Party of Pennsylvania, the Progressive Citizens of America, and the National Progressive Party papers were donated by Ralph Keyes in 2012.
