Biographical / Historical

Dayton Countryman was a 1948 graduate of the University of Iowa College of Law. In addition to practicing law in Nevada, Iowa, he served as Attorney General of Iowa from 1954-1957, and sought the Republican nomination to the U.S. Senate three times (1956, 1960, and 1968).
