Scope and Contents
This collection was compiled by librarians in Special Collections and Archives to capture some of the history of Black American involvement in the history of film and television. From silent film era to Blaxploitation films of the 1960s and 70s, this collection holds scripts, lobby cards, press book materials, posters, and other material that show the work of Black directors, actors, producers, and screenwriters.
