The Hancock Family Papers consists of diares (1860-1922), a ledger (1881), register of members of Diamond Lodge #39 (1879-1892), and four insurance registers which span from 1883 to 1917.

Method of Acquisition
This collection was given to the University of Iowa Libraries in 1955 by the estate of Clara Hancock. An addition was made in 1959 by Mrs. May Henderson.
