Scope and Contents

This collection consists of a series of 17 oral history interviews conducted with individuals who recall their childhoods at permanent Chautauquas. The collection is comprised of CD recordings, topics lists, and partial transcripts. Each folder contains the following: Title page. Features the name of interviewer and the interviewee, the date and location of the interview, and the topic of the interview. "Tape Log and Partial Translation [sic: Transcription]" Features headlines of the main topics important to the researcher at the time of processing nad dissertation writing, and the minute and second for easy navigation within the recording. In some instances, a more detailed interview transcript is included. CD with the audio recording. AV materials moved to IRA Cool Storage
