Scope and Contents

This collection primarily includes fanzines from the Blake's 7 fandom. Other formats include apazines, magazines, newsletters, and one book. Blake's 7 was a science fiction television show which aired in the United Kingdom from 1977 to 1981. According to Fanlore.org, few Blake's 7 fanzines were created after 2004. The collection includes one script written by actor Paul Darrow, who played the Kerr Avon character in the TV series. The box list, below, is organized by series. Folder titles are listed for each box. Folders which house multiple issues display those titles indented.

Method of Acquisition

This collection was donated to the University of Iowa Libraries by Marian Mendez in cooperation with the Organization for Transformative Works in February 2013.
