Three manuals in Russian documenting mill operations, including a manual on the composition of cast iron according to the system of McLane (or McLain). It is addressed to workers, technicians and engineers and published in Novosibirsk, 1931
In the preface it is said that issue of this book was stipulated by the shortage of the literature on foundry business in the USSR. The book explains special features of the foundry business. It is said that 13 books by McLane who was an amateur at first and then turned into a specialist in the foundry business were very useful. They were accorded to us by the apprentice of McLane, H.L. Zimmerman, the consulting specialist of Freyn Engineering Company for translation from English. In the back cover there is the list of other books on this issue and their price. The information on the foundry business and cast iron is very specific. (Description provided by Irina Rezhapova) (90 pages of materials)
