This sub-series consists of conferences attended and presented at, lectures given, prizes competed for, exhibits curated or critiqued, articles and reviews she wrote, articles about Kay or the Type Lab, committees on which she served, etc.

Kay's research materials,including items such as grant proposals and information on Simon de Colines. Also included are three card files, one arranged alphabetically by last name of author; the one two arranged alphabeltically by subject, American Printing-Typography, then within these subjects alphabetically by last name of author. These are designated as boxes 17.1, 17.2, and 17.3.
