The Barbara M. Calderon papers date from 1945 to 1968 and contain 18 items. Two newspaper clippings, dated 1945 and 1948, and several photographs are included in this collection. The papers also include memoranda, minutes, study objectives, and other material relating to a Nursing Study Committee that was appointed at the Veterans Administration Hospital in 1965 to study the hospital's nursing services. Calderon served as committee chairperson. These materials were transferred from the Myrtle Aydelotte papers. The certificate from Governor Harold Hughes proclaiming Calderon's appointment to the Commission on the Status of Women is also included here.
