Biographical / Historical

Mary Brenneman was born on January 7, 1922 in Sharon Center, Iowa. Mary was the sixth of seven children born to Benjamin and Barbara Brenneman. She contracted polio at eighteen months old, after walking for six months, and had to relearn how to walk.
