Biographical / Historical

Zalinda Lynch Griffith was born on 3 July 1843, in Highland, Ohio. Her father, Evan Smith Griffith, was 45 and her mother, Nancy Osborn Moorman, was 35. She married Jonathan D. Hadley on 14 December 1862. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 2 daughters. She died in May 1937 in California at the age of 93.
