iRiS, 1996
Scope and Contents
The theme of this work is the Iris flower and most pages depict drawn abstractions of the flower in gray-black colors. The latter is an unexplained contradiction to the purple colors of the flower. The folder enclosing the pamphlets, pages, and drawings is inserted into an enclosure in the rectangular shaped earthy, ceramic vase which has another round enclosure for an artificial Iris flower with its stem. A polaroid photograph depicts the process of how the drawing was made - by rubbing the flower over paper to form the word "Iris" from its pigments. Also designated No.2/Tome 11 in the series ARTCI-BLE Petits Dictionnaires Portatifs. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
