Large fields of grey-black ink obscure sections of text on pages of a scientific text by Edward Klima dealing with sound and its absence in linguistics, one page to a print. Near the middle of each print, single words apppear in black circumscribed b background white of paper, e.g., silence, entering, insurgencies. Each print also contains a large, fragmented capital letter printed in red.
