Scope and Contents

Houedard mentions making his transparency poems and describes his travels and visitations. This letter has a large number of ink lettered additions marking the failure of the typewriter keys to make an impression on the blue colored 'madras' tissue paper surface. In the opening statement, Houedard complains, 'crime to type with this ugh "invicta' typewriter -'... The invicta was a pre-WWII downgraded Olivetti portable typewriter. The recipient of this letter, 'explodings' might have been David Medalla. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
