Old Fan of Visual Poetry, 1995
Scope and Contents
The photocopied print framed with a letraset outline of an opened fan depicts a Manet painting of three adults on a balcony with their faces partially obscured with white paint. A seated woman holds a closed fan. The fan, which is attached to the col tied string, is a commercial object made from painted brown wood and gold paper. Baroni collaged a letraset letter picture onto the paper of the fan. The collage is one of a series of 8 Unrelated Pieces for the Sackner Archive. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
