The background text consists of three columns of repetition of "word" typed in lower case. An image of a partially concealed standing man (Gerz?) holding a poster reading "no word please" is placed over the lower left column of text. The image of a hand on translucent paper with a poster reading "no word please" is placed in the lower half of the right sided column. The archive also holds a smaller, non-inscribed version of this photograph. This work is depicted as No.470 in Gerz's Catalogue Raisonnne Volume III and mistakingly described as a photocollage rather than a photograph of a it.
